
Kari Amble
Kari has extensive experience with journalism, information and communication from the media, business and organizations.
The broad professional experience is important when we work with innovation, organizational processes and communication.
Kari has a strong communication experience. She has been working for NRK for 20 years. She worked as a journalist, working with television news and as a radio reporter, anchorwoman and duty manager. Later she was head of information at Bergen Chamber of Commerce and head of information at The Rafto Foundation. She has been a university lecturer in journalism and television at the University of Bergen (UiB).
Kari has held several board positions, which means she knows well how companies and organizations must find solutions: Her board positions include: University of Bergen, Norwegian Union for Journalists, NRKJ’s Board, Bergen Press Association, Bergen Red Cross and she has been a leader, Bergen Union for Journalists, and the Norwegian Skating Association. In addition, she has participated in a number of councils and committees. Today, she is a Board Member (alternate), Fana Idrettslag’s Executive Board and a Club Supervisor, Vestland Idrettskrets in her spare time.
She has a bachelor’s degree in political science/mass communication/history from the University of Oslo and UiB.
Kari believes teamwork is very important for innovation. We have to work with ideas and proposals together, to find the good solutions in an organization that bring innovation!
